I always said before the 2010 World Cup that we needed Rooney at his best to stand any chance of winning the World Cup and I was proven right as he was awful.

Rooney's face is plastered on billboards throughout the country. How can he expect not to get booed after a scoreless draw with Algeria? He should get off his high horse, because failure to escape the first round at this years World Cup would put a big scar on his legacy.
