Premiership title challengers Liverpool seem to be developing a habit of participating in eight goal thrillers. The recent Champions League semi-final 2nd leg against Chelsea finished in a 4-4 draw and has been labelled as one of the best games of recent years.

The Premiership fixture between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield came very close for sheer entertainment. A season that promised so much for Liverpool now looks as though it will finish with no trophy. They must hope Manchester United drops points in the remaining fixtures to have any realistic chance of the title.

Dominating The European Champions League

As we reach the final stages of the Champions League the question of English dominance once again, rears its head. No doubt UEFA president Michel Platini will be distinctly unimpressed to see three English teams in the semi-finals. Controversial New England Shirt

There was much controversy surrounding the new England shirt in terms of the design and the way it was launched. As long as David Beckham is still around then the FA will maximise any opportunity to cash in.

One criticism levelled at football clubs is how often the replica shirts are changed. Most shirts last for two years although some have been used for just one season.
